We met with Kelly and Dan at the Marriott Hotel early December; we loved them immediately! They were super nice, very funny and we got on really well. We chatted over coffee about plans for their wedding; what songs they may like, first dances and the itinerary for the night. Dan & Kelly met at Swindon Town Football club, and the rest is history. They found ‘The Zoots‘ following a recommendation from Glenn and Colin aka: Your Digital Memories (they are totes awesome photographers, you should book them). Your Digital Memories had spotted us performing at Jessica and James Arthurs wedding at Bowood House in May 2014, what a night that was! To be recommended by a fellow supplier is just wonderful. Thank you! After checking out our website and getting in touch with us, Kelly & dan decided to book us for their big day! Fast forward to December 2014. Christmas is in 3 days. We arrived at Bailbrooke House Hotel and it was very nice indeed! The hotel has recently undergone a £10 million overhaul and is one of top five hotels in the area. Kelly and Dan’s Christmas helpers had been busy little elves, decorating the venue with huge christmas ribbons, Christmas trees and so.many.baubles. Pretty sure there wasn’t a single bauble left in a 20 mile radius. Here’s some photos of the hotel.
We got settled in a and got set up. Dan and Kelly had kindly arranged for us to have THE MOST DELICIOUS MEAL OF 2014 (seriously it was amazing). Feeling, full good and generally great we were were determined to put on an excellent show! We squeezed into our outfits and got ready. For their first dance, Kelly & Dan had chosen ‘Never seen anything quite like you’ by The Script, it was lovely. Here are some wonderful pictures kindly provided to us by Glenn & Colin from Your Digital Memories.
Here is a few more photos from the night as the we took as the rest of the wedding party took to the floor to join the newlyweds.
We started off our set with some up tempo rock ‘n roll and some classic songs from our 1960s show. Twist and Shout, Do you love me and La Bamba went down so well. The dance-floor was well and truly packed! Here are some pictures; the good ones have been kindly provided by Your Digital Memories from the first few songs, the not-so-good ones are taken our my phone, but you get the gist. IT WAS AWESOME!!!

Later in the evening we had a GIRLS versus BOYS dance off which was amazing! We tried to capture the moment but maybe you had to be there! The dance off started fairly normal one boy has a dance on his own facing the girls, then its the girls turn and more people join in etc. This dance off went to whole new level! First of all a two tiered human formation which turned into alternative human pyramids! It was crazy, I really wanted the boys to win but the girls reached the 16 foot celing with a three tiered pyramid, bride Kelly forming part of the base. It was phenomenal!

Stuart also did an excellent DJ set and he even took requests!
Dan and Kelly very kindly provided us with a room at the hotel for the night which meant we could continue the celebrations after the show. It was really nice to spend some time with some of the guests and enjoy the wonderful facilities at Bailbrooke House Hotel. In the morning we met with the lovely couple and all the guests who stayed over. Kelly and Dan wore brilliant Christmas jumpers and we really enjoyed the lovely breakfast!
It was one of our best ever performances at a wedding by The Zoots! Super well done to Stuart, Harriet, Ben and Si, you all did a fab job.
