It was our first ever performance at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, North Wales. It is a premier arts and conference centre that evolved from the 1894 Victoria Palace theatre. Following its stint as the Hippodrome and Catlin’s Arcadia, the original site closed in 1994, making way for the modern North Wales Theatre and Conference Centre, rebranded as Venue Cymru in 2006
The event was fro Inner Wheel which is one of the world’s largest women’s voluntary service organisations, was officially founded on 10 January 1924 in Manchester, England. It was established by Margarette Golding, a nurse and businesswoman, along with 26 other wives of Manchester Rotarians.
The Zoots performed as a three piece for the first time ever with Charlie on drums, Neil on bass and Jamie on guitar. It was quite nice to do something a bit different and seemed to work really well.
