This was the fifth time Zoots have been performed at The Radlett Centre. It is a venue that originally opened in 1996, and a great 300 seater venue in the heart of Radlett in Hertfordhshire.
We had wanted to play for many years and have been lucky enough to perform there five times.
This was a special day as it was a decade birthday for Harriet Lowther our percussionist, dancer, vibe master. Harriet has her own art business called Made by Harriet
It was the first theatre show for our new guitar player Peter Emery. Peter has moved down from Aberdeenshire to Wiltshire and it is brilliant to have him as part of the team. It was great to have Charlie Gregory on drums who is very entertaining bringing a wealth of youth to the show.
There was so many people we knew in the audience. Some people who really supported us for many years; Pete & Gill Watson who we met in 2015 on a Saga Cruise ship, Tony and Lyn Fox who have been following us for over 8 years. Also in the audience were lots of people Jamie has met through playing with The Bootleg 60s and The Overtures; Marilyn, Debbie Loveridge, Dionne Cowling (Who took the photo of Harriet getting the cake), Griff and all the boys from The Dog and Duck Russel Gould, Dawn Gerard, Caroline Muldowney, Jess Heff and lots of very special people. Den and Jamie Cook from The Overtures were also in the audience. It was also special to have Nick Liddard and Tomps as part of the crew
It was great to have Harriet back who had missed the end of the summer but she has made an almost full recovery.
