We LOVE performing at the Alhambra Theater, a HUGE stage, an awesome PA, soooo many wicked lights, 2000 seats over 2 tiers and an awesome crew to work with!Jacko, Stage Manager, Gerry on sound, Mike on lights and Greg backstage are just brilliant. We opened the show with our new animated introduction which shows The Zoots coming from home to the stage. We have adding so many things to the show and we were really looking forward to showing them off.
So sorry, its been a total age since we’ve written. There’s no excuse really, apart from we’ve been really busy. Like our feet have hardly touched the ground, until now!
December 2016 was one of THE BEST December’s we’ve ever had. We went to Oman, to UAE, to Germany, France and Belgium. And then we saw the New Year in (on the floor of the airport) in Cuba before sailing to Jamaica!! How lucky are we? I literally have 1000s of photos from our trips, so will include only a few below. If you want to see more, send me an email, and we’ll arrange a slideshow. :)Dubai was hot and interesting. We went to the old Souks (markets) on the river where they sold spices, textiles and gold. We (Tommy) learnt the art of haggling, which came in very useful. We stopped for a bite to eat near the gold souk, where we had some delicious local foods. Jamie bought some of the local attire. We took a little boat across the river (video below) It was an incredible experience.
Hello! Me again,
Its been a crazy few months in Zoots world, we were touring non stop from November to the beginning of 2016 and we’ve moved our HQ. We’ve found an article from last November about our excellent cruise to Malta, Barcelona and Cagliari.
I hope you enjoyed our blog from December about our performance in the Broadway Melodies Theatre. When we weren’t busy onstage with our 1960’s show, we were fortunate enough to have some time off to explore the places which we stopped in, boy we’ve been very lucky Zoots this year, and we’ve visited some amazing places. Today I want to tell you a little bit about where we went, and share with you some photos we took on our travels in late November. Continue reading
It’s our very favourite part of the week, being a very busy band means we’re usually off doing what we love most. And this weekend, it’s a good ‘un. We’re off to perform at Bebe’s birthday party at the very swish Vineyard Hotel in Newbury.
It was Bebe’s sister, Jessie, who got in touch to see if we were available to be the band for the night. Now, if you’ve just joined us, let me tell you about Jessie. We performed at Jessie’s wedding way back in 2014 (I couldn’t believe it either, it really did feel like it was only yesterday!). You can read our blog about our performance at Jessie & Christian’s wedding at Huntsham Court. Jessie wore one of the most beautiful dresses ever – I loved the colours and details (see the photo below). We were just so thrilled when Jessie got in touch to ask us to perform again, I think being rebooked is one of the best compliments we can ever receive!

Emma was in charge of booking a band for the bash, and she chose us, having been her wedding band a little over a year ago! We remember the night well, in the gorgeous setting of the Crazy Bear in Stadhampton (you should really go there, it’s amazing).
Well hello lovely Internet viewer, are you having a good day? Is it cold where you are? It’s pretty nippy here, I have on 3 sweaters.
Have you done everything you need to? We haven’t. Our to do lists are as long as our arms, and then some. But it’s all great, we love being busy (srsly). Continue reading
Ok, so we’ve been back three days and I think we’ve just about recovered from what must have been our BEST shows ever, on board the Rhapsody of The Seas.
It began at Zoots HQ in Wiltshire of course, where most of our stories begin. We’ve had a busy few months performing at lots of events including Natalie & Rhys’ wedding, our awesome halloween show at Stamford Corn Exchange, as well as lots of other performances we just really haven’t had the time to tell you about. You may remember from our latest band blog post, we’re moving house, as well as having a full diary of performances and taking bookings well in to 2017, we’re pretty busy! So if you’re thinking about booking The Zoots, we’d recommend getting in touch asap!
Halloween was a few days ago, and we’ve only just recovered from out awesome wicked spooky night performing with The Zoots at the Stamford Corn Exchange. It was incredible to see you all in your capes, collars and cat suits showing off some of the best halloween costumes we had ever seen. Continue reading
Wow. It’s autumn already. You may have noticed we’ve been a bit quiet on the blogging front, our bad. We’ve been so busy. Like really so busy. We’ve not even had chance to tell you about some of the awesome things The Zoots have been doing. We’ve not filled you in on the pretty spectacular and very colourful wedding of Tara & Vig at the stunning Boreham House, back in August (was it really August?!). Nor have we had a minute to stop and mention just how fantastic Laura & Andy’s wedding at Walton Castle was (we played in a turret!!) and we’ve just not sat down to really soak up how much we enjoyed performing for Emma & Lee at their beautiful wedding at the Moonraker in Wiltshire. Continue reading
Last week was blooming brilliant. We had such a fab time performing for Steve and Laura at Pinewood Studios and only yesterday (Friday) we had the absolute honour of performing for our good friends Simon & Emily on their wedding day at Priston Mill. I don’t think we could be any happier.
Today, Saturday, we’re headed towards a little town called Chorleywood. We’ve actually passed through here many moon ago when we were performing at Fitness Fiesta in Hemsby last year. It’s a lovely place, lots of fields lots of green. Today we’re performing for Phil and Rainee on their wedding day at North Hill Farm and we’re really looking forward to it. We’ve been liaising with Phil & Rainee about their big day since they got in touch in August last year. Continue reading
