What a time it’s been. We hope you have all been keeping well. We’ve been keeping busy, rearranging SHOWS and taking on new bookings for 2021 – 2022. Harriet’s been busy with her ONLINE SHOP. We’re looking forward to getting back to performing later this year.
2020 was a bit of a weird one, wasn’t it. Although it was mostly quiet due to covid, we were, however, lucky enough to perform two limited capacity concerts at Arlington Arts Centre in October 2020.

I wanted to write this blog to tell you all about it

The wonderful staff at Arlington Arts Centre all worked tremendously hard to set up the theatre at 40% capacity to be Covid Compliant. We had a long sound check to run through the sound and video cues. The fab resident engineers Gareth Binnie and Vicky Allen were on hand to help.

We dusted the cobwebs off the costumes and got ready in three different dressing rooms!

The first set was awesome, it was an amazing atmosphere and so special that people had come from all over the UK to see us, Janice came from Sussex, Barbara and Andy came from Norfolk, John and Selina came down from Birmingham, Peter and Gill Watson travelled all the way from Kent. We were so grateful! Everyone had to wear a mask but the response from the crowd and atmosphere was fantastic! We have missed you all so much!

After a costume change and three cups of coffee we went on for the second half. I swapped with Ian for a couple of songs and enjoyed playing the drums! Ian sang Crocodile Rock by Elton John and Staying Alive by The Bee Gees, it was tremendous fun!

After a few encores we did one last dance to say goodbye to everyone. We were so grateful to the audience for coming to support us and it was our way of saying thank you. Unfortunately we were unable to do our usual meet and greet after the show because of the Covid Restrictions. We really did miss doing this and this is usually the favourite part of the night for me, to see how everyone is and catch up.
