On New Years Eve we were lucky enough to perform at the wonderful Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis. We first performed at The Marine Theatre in 2017 and have also performed as a wedding band there for Stephen and Julie in 2024. We took the trip down the M4 and M5 and down to the wonderful town of Lyme Regis.

Tonight was going to be a special New Years Eve show with 1960s theme also with John Bongo Djing. We had a very special show planned with a fantastic line up. We had Jamie Cook on lead guitar, William Pugsley on bass who both came down from Essex and Hertfordshire respectively. We also had Charlie T Gregory on drums from Stratford on Avon and Jamie and Harriet with Sam Walsh on Sound. Before we went on we had a couple of pictures backstage. We started the show with one of the most famous songs of the 60s ‘Twist and Shout’ which was originally released in 1961 by The Top Notes, the n released in 1962 by The Isley Brothers, in 1963 it was released by The Beatles, Brian Poole & The Tremeloes, Sylvie Vartan, The Shangra-La’s, The Iguanas and by The Searchers.

We had organised a different show with 3 x 40-minute shows and lots of costume changes with a video show to complement in the background.
There was a tremendous atmosphere and everyone was really up for the occasion.
It was our first time in the Marine Theatre for New Years Eve. Last year, for 2024, we were at The Old Picture House in Seaton. The year before we were at The Seaton Gateway for 2023/24. So we are used to being in the area and have a great following there.
In between our sets we were accompanied by DJ John Bongo who kept the music going throughout.
