Christmas party band show in Oxford at Shush
We were thrilled to be asked to perform our Christmas party band show at Shush, in Oxfordshire, for our debut show at the venue. Shush is a converted cinema with a fantastic atmosphere, and last Xmas I gave you my heart! What a cracking venue and a fantastic night!
All the staff were really helpful and friendly, and we were pleased to be working with George Jackson on sound again from JT Stage Productions, who also recommended us for the gig! Thank you, George!

Enjoying live music from the band at the Christmas party
The Zoots enjoyed playing some Christmas classic songs, ‘Merry Christmas’ by Slade, ‘Do They Know it’s Christmas time’ by Band Aid, All I want for Christmas is you by Mariah Carey, ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’ by Shakin Stevens and ‘Rocking around the Christmas Tree’ by Brenda Lee.
Jamie said,’ I particularly enjoyed performing ‘Do They Know It’s Xmas time’ as it’s one of the first singles I can remember having and brings back some great memories! I also loved singing the line in Slade’s Merry Xmas,” Does your Granny always tell ya, that the old songs are best? When she’s up and rock ‘n rolling with the rest”. Both my Grandma and my Nan were the type of party people that those lyrics were written about.”
