HRL Management Ltd book The Zoots for all our private events. Below are the terms and conditions.
- The engager will provide a heated room for the band to change in and utilise during their breaks/before performances.
- Water / Coffee / Tea and a hot meal will be provided for the 5 or 6 members of the team (2 members are vegetarian) A platter of good quality sandwiches is also acceptable at least 2 sandwiches each.
- It is agreed that the equipment and engineer is not available to other persons except with specific permission of the band and the engager shall be responsible for any damage to the equipment caused by the audience.
- It is suggested that a performance area of at least 7m x 4m will be provided, a stage is preferred but not essential.
- It is suggested for the safety of all concerned that drinks are not brought to the dance floor.
- Any damages to the equipment incurred by the guests will be paid for by the engager. We do not allow guests to touch the equipment without specific permission.
- The music will cease playing momentarily if an audience member enters the stage area without specific permission.
- It is the responsibility of the engager to take all reasonable steps to ensure a safe supply of electricity.
- The engager should ensure that all necessary steps are taken to provide safe working conditions for the performers.
- It is agreed that a parking space for a Jumbo long wheel base van (7 metres long, 2.7 metres high) and one car will be arranged by the engager.
- Additional performances are possible but shall be subject to fees to be agreed by both parties.
- The agreement may not be modified except by mutual consent in writing and signed by both parties. Any such modification or cancellation shall not prejudice the right to payment of the musicians engaged.
- The Booking fee payment is an agreement to accept these terms and conditions.
- The Booking fee is not refundable.
- The leader cannot be held responsible for any non performance in circumstances where a sound limiter is set so low that live music performance is not possible for a band of its type.
- Cancellation fees are payable by the Engager from contracted date: 18 months – 15% 12 months – 30% 6 months – 50%, 3 months – 75%, 1 month – 100%
