It is going to be amazing and hot and glorious and lovely. *packs cossie*. We’re heading overseas to perform with our 1960s show, it’s still us, but we dress more ‘sixties’ and perform load of awesome hit from the 1960s, it really was one of the best times for music.

We’ve also had loadsa enquiries for this week and next, some of them even for 2017! Crikey, you guys are PLANNERS. We like. We posted our blog about our performance at The Potato Sheds in Kimbolton, what a night that was. They are getting married on the 7th of March 2015 and wondered if we’re available to perform for them. They just love the 60’s music and knew we were the perfect fit! We said yes and the date was booked!

Ian and Amy had know each other just 13 months before they decided they wanted to spend their lives together. And where better to tie the knot than The Assembly Rooms in Bath – what a venue! Continue reading

It’s a tough question, one we get asked a lot. How to choose your wedding band.

Let’s turn to Google for some help. Rather unhelpfully, Google churns out About 98,300,000 results (in just 0.46 seconds, might I add) for the term ‘wedding band‘. Needless to say, choosing a band can be a bit of a mind field. (not to mention the US term for wedding ring is ‘wedding band’).

We’ve thought of some things which may come in helpful to help you decide and find the right band.

Saturday was pretty awesome. As soon as we found out we were performing at a Mad Men themed birthday party, we were real excited. Hannah and Tim, booked us a while back to perform at their joint 30th in Tonbridge, not far from Tunbridge Wells. They were looking for a party band who could perform loads of songs from the 60s and keep their guests dancing all night. We had some great song requests and we’re really looking forward to performing some 1960s tracks which the couple had chosen from our repertoire!

We travelled down on the Saturday from Hemsby where we were performing the night before. We spent time in the van (The Red Dragon) running through some tracks and rehearsing some backing vocals. At around 3pm we arrived at Goldsmid Hall. It was a fantastic space, lots of light, very colourful. Hannah and Tim were there with some family members getting the Hall ready for the evening. The decorations were brilliant. I loved the pom poms!! And the massive 30 was a great focal point! Continue reading
